New Tutor Orientation: March 2023

FOR TUESDAY IN-PERSON NEW TUTORS ONLY:

Join us for an Orientation to jump-start your volunteering with us—required before you join us for your first tutoring session.
A BACKGROUND CHECK IS NOT NEEDED TO JOIN US FOR ORIENTATION, but must be completed before tutoring.

During Orientation we’ll cover the following items:

• Who SDRT is
• What we do
• How to get involved
• Tour of classrooms & resources
• Tips for tutoring

BEFORE VOLUNTEERING, ALL TUTORS NEED TO BE REGISTERED WITH US, GO THRU THE STEPS, AND COMPLETE A BACKGROUND CHECK FOR EACH SCHOOL YEAR.
