New Tutor Fall Orientation 2 & Returning Tutor Refresher

FOR NEW TUTORS:

Join us for an Orientation to jump-start your volunteering with us – required before you join us for your first tutoring session.  A CLEARED BACKGROUND CHECK IS NOT NEEDED TO JOIN US FOR ORIENTATION, but must be completed before tutoring.

During Orientation, we’ll cover the following items:

• Who SDRT is
• What we do
• How to get involved
• Tips for tutoring

BEFORE VOLUNTEERING, ALL NEW TUTORS NEED TO REGISTER WITH US, GO THRU THE STEPS, AND COMPLETE A BACKGROUND CHECK FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR.

FOR RETURNING TUTORS:

Join us for a 20-minute refresher and to help us get ready for our 2018 – 2019 Tutoring Sessions; we need TONS of help! What to expect:

• We’ll cover what is new this year
• Sort new items
• Set up the classrooms
• Anything else that is needed

ALL RETURNING TUTORS NEED TO FILL OUT A NEW BACKGROUND CHECK FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR.
