Cocoa & a Cookie 2022 Volunteer: RUN STATIONS & CLEAN-UP

It’ll soon be the end of our first trimester, and we are wrapping things up with a festive event but we need YOUR help.

SDRT’s Cocoa & a Cookie event runs from 2–4 p.m.,
but we will need you to help set up, run stations (popcorn, gifts, fruits/veggies, books, etc.) and break down.
At the event we will be distributing various holiday gifts, gift cards, groceries and books to each student.
There will also be tables for kids and tutors to decorate sugar cookies and enjoy cocoa together.

 

We have two shifts, so pick the one that works best for you. You can also bring a trusted friend, colleague, or partner—just email us to let us know.

THIS RSVP IS TO VOLUNTEER TO:
RUN STATIONS/CLEAN-UP at 2:00–5:30 p.m.

2 time slots to RSVP:
11 a.m.–2:30 p.m.: Set-Up Crew: Meet at our North Park storage office, then load all items in your vehicles to move to Ibarra and help set up.
2 p.m.–5:30 p.m.: Run Stations & Clean-Up: Run stations & distribute items (Popcorn, Books, Gifts, Gift Cards, Hope For San Diego Packages, Cocoa/Cookies, Groceries, etc). Then clean up then take items back to our storage office in North Park.
