“Do we get to keep them forever?”

Even though our tutors cannot show up at SDRT, they are supporting our kids in new, wonderful ways.

Those were the words that this student asked at the sight of his new headphones.  He couldn’t believe “the tutors bought them for him to keep!” His siblings were excited too! And, they all found books in their new “Home Library” that they were equally thrilled about (even the middle schooler is giving a half-smile!).

This has been the week of deliveries. Since our newsletter was sent on Saturday morning, you all started delivering. And so did Amazon. And so did we! Look at what has been collected in just 4 days! The boxes and bags just keep arriving.

When we delivered one “Home Library,” one student picked out one book from the box. She was shocked to find out that the whole box was theirs to keep!

When this mom found out that the diapers, food, hygiene items, books and headphones all came from tutors, she said we must share a message with you:

“Thank you. God bless you all. We really appreciate it.”

Thank you for responding. The SDRT community is surrounding our families and they feel it. Many of our kids are asking for particular authors and this student was dying for a set of headphones so he could hear his lessons online! You have allowed us to fulfill several requests.
