FIELD TRIP: San Diego Safari Park 2024

Come chaperone a small group of students (two adults per group of 3-4 students grades TK–5th) as they see the animals at San Diego Safari Park for the first time!
We’ll make memories, see animals many of us have only ever seen on TV and in books and get lots of exercise, while our kids learn a whole lot of English in the process!
Safari Park will also hold two 45-minute educational programs for our group that you and your students will attend.

Cost:
$20 admission unless you have a Zoo membership (please let us know if you do). You can pay this by donating $20 on our website (select ‘special events’ in the drop-down menu).
**Also, you can SPONSOR A CHILD’S FIELD TRIP EXPENSES by donating $30 on our website (select ‘special events’ in the drop-down menu.)
What to Bring:
- Your lunch
- Sunscreen
- Walking shoes
- Backpack (to carry kid snacks & waters and your lunch)
Times:
Meet at Safari Park at 9:15 a.m. (let us know if you are going to meet there!) or meet at Ibarra at 8:15 and carpool with others. All volunteers will drive themselves; there is a parking fee at Safari Park but only staff and students will ride on the bus.
Field trip ends at 2:00. p.m at Safari Park
Here is the schedule for the day:
8:15 a.m.: Arrive at Ibarra
8:30 a.m.: Buses & Carpools leave Ibarra (only staff & students will ride the bus)
9:15 a.m.–2:00 p.m.: Safari Park fun, including two, special 45-minute educational programs!
2:15 p.m.: Bus leaves Safari Park to return to Ibarra
3:00 p.m.: Bus arrives at Ibarra
