New Tutor Orientation #2: Fall 2024

Join us for an Orientation to jump-start your volunteering with us—required before you join us for your first tutoring session.
A BACKGROUND CHECK IS NOT NEEDED TO JOIN US FOR ORIENTATION, but will need to be completed during the registration process to become a tutor with us.

During Orientation we’ll cover the following items:

• Who SDRT is
• What we do
• How to get involved
• Tour of classrooms & resources
• Tips for tutoring

SCHEDULE:
–New Tutor Orientation: 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
–10-minute Break
–Those who are interested in completing the orientation to tutor with us, would then join us for a New Tutor Training Session, with a projected end time of 8:00 p.m.
