Calling all SDRT supporters and volunteers (and their families)!

Come join us at Urbanlife’s 9th Annual City Heights Runners 2022 5k and 1k Fun Run on Feb. 26!

We have over 40 students signed up and that number is growing! We need your help with supervision.

This will be a great opportunity to get some out in the fresh air, build community with our students by cheering each other on, and support a local non-profit that works with students in City Heights. Read about the awesome time we all had at this event in Feb 2020 here.

As a supporter/non-runner, you will be able to help us corral children, hold a sign supporting our SDRT Team, or make sure our team stays hydrated! RSVP on this page and we will keep you in the loop of SDRT’s plans of where to meet, what time, etc.

You would meet at Ibarra Elementary at 7:15 a.m. and we would load the buses to leave by 7:30 a.m  We will need the majority of our volunteers (if not all!) to make the 5-minute bus ride with our students to the race venue (North Chollas Community Park. We expect to have you back at Ibarra by 1 p.m. after watching the race awards and eating lunch together!
