Calling all SDRT supporters and volunteers (and their families)!

Come join us at Urbanlife’s 10th Annual City Heights Runners 2022 5k and 1k Fun Run on April 15!

We have over 40 students signed up and that number is growing! We need your help with supervision.

This will be a great opportunity to get some out in the fresh air, build community with our students by cheering each other on, and support a local non-profit that works with students in City Heights. Read about the awesome time we all had at this event in Feb 2020 here and last year in 2022 here.

As a supporter you will be able to help us corral children, hold a sign supporting our SDRT Team, or make sure our team stays hydrated! RSVP on this page and we will keep you in the loop of SDRT’s plans of where to meet, what time, etc.

You would meet at Ibarra Elementary by 7:15 a.m. to help load our kids into our drivers’ cars or our rented van in order to leave by 7:30 a.m.  We would then caravan together in your own vehicles to the race site and then meet by the Race Check-In (Chollas Lake Amphitheatre). We expect to leave the race at 12:45 p.m. after watching the race awards, exploring Chollas Lake a bit, and eating lunch together!
