Thanksgiving is coming and we don’t get to have our annual amazing meal together with our students, their families and our families due to Covid.

Every November, we cannot wait to share our Thanksgiving tradition with our students and watch tutors meet moms, dads and siblings of the child they tutor. We fill the auditorium with laughter, crafts, games, a photo booth, and the most scrumptious apple pie you’ve ever tasted. Our students love playing Uno, trying stuffing for the first time, and meeting your whole family as well.

 

Though this tradition in its fullness will be sorely missed this year, we are still planning something special and we need YOU.

 

 

If you would like to join, we have a way for everyone to pitch in:

1) Make a food dish or buy something and bring it to Ibarra the day of. See the spreadsheet here for what items we need. Email [email protected] to let us know what you are signing up to bring.

2) Since we cannot have craft and game stations, we are bringing activities to our students and their siblings. Purchase some items off of our Amazon Wish List here and share this list with friends and family!

3) Come decorate your car and join a route to deliver the feasts to our kids’ homes! This opportunity is limited so please RSVP soon and let us know if you cannot make it (car decorating supplies provided).

4) Make a financial contribution. We can shop for you- just let us know you want your donation spent on the Thanksgiving Feast Delivery and Car Parade.
