Join us for a Saturday Thanksgiving Feast – November 19th!

We are hosting our Annual Thanksgiving Feast on Saturday, November 19th from 2:00 – 4:00p.m. in the Ibarra Elementary Auditorium AND outside.

We hold this Thanksgiving feast every year (in one form or another thru Covid years!) to share an American tradition with our current refugee families and to help welcome any of our newer families to the country.

It’s a special time where registered tutors and their families and our students and their families sit down together to share a meal and conversation, to mingle and be festive – not just where one group serves the other.

It is truly such a beautiful celebration of friendship, culture, and thankfulness.

Our paths might not otherwise cross if it weren’t for San Diego Refugee Tutoring. And for this crossing of paths, we are so very thankful.

So bring your family – however that means to you – to come join the SDRT family, and eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal as ONE GIGANTIC family. Then enjoy the many activities we will have set up around the room for you all to participate in together.
