Watching and Waiting

They have been watching from the sidelines wondering when it would be their turn. Their big brothers and sisters have skipped into tutoring while they have been returned to strollers and carseats time and time again. But, not this week. It was finally their turn! We had the largest group of TK and K students ever. We ran out of space! They couldn’t wait to explore the puzzles, whiteboard markers, Play-Doh and games. This little girl couldn’t have been more proud of the letter A she wrote!

The garden provided the best backdrop for storytelling. Some will take time learning the ropes, but they will get there soon.

Though we were uncertain how many kids would actually come this past week as tutoring began, we were pleasantly surprised (and a bit overwhelmed) by the stellar attendance.

We officially have the most middle and high school students on our rosters than ever before. Our kids are growing up and sticking around. We are delighted by that but also that means we need more folks like YOU to help tutor all of these kids!
