Jodi Maroney Memorial Fund

Jodi Maroney took on incredible challenges throughout her life and she spent her days helping others. We have established the Jodi Maroney Memorial Fund to do just that at San Diego Refugee Tutoring, in her name.

Jodi was involved with San Diego Refugee Tutoring over the past five years. She is, and will be, greatly missed. Her warm smile, willing heart, and generous spirit were familiar to the tutors and students alike. She came early, left late, and made sure she tutored some of our most difficult students. She brought light with her. We would like to use this fund to spread that light to our students.

Giving to this fund will help refugee students overcome challenges. In addition to providing academic support, the fund will provide extra opportunities for our students that they wouldn’t have otherwise, such as field trips, camp scholarships, and extracurricular lessons.

Thank you for helping us honor and remember Jodi’s life.
